Who is Mr. Chunk?

Paul grew up around Dachshunds and has always loved their sleek style, softness and mild temperament. Some of them are a little more talkative then he’d like, but for the most part, the Dachshund found its way into his heart.

Each year, Paul travels to Helen, Ga. for Octoberfest to celebrate with good friends. It’s been an annual tradition for years.

In October of 2009, Paul found the most beautiful Dachshund puppy in one of the local stores in downtown Helen. Many like to ask him where he found his son. According to Paul, however, his son found him.

After weeks of scrambling through names, the only one that would fit was Chunk. "He’s like a chunk of chocolate" Paul’s wife Monica liked to say. Then there’s Chunk from the fabulous 80’s movie “The Goonies.” Of course, the little chunk belly he had as a puppy was hard to ignore as well.

Either way, Paul and his wife love Chunk Master Perdue and consider him to be a valuable part of the image of Perdue Vision LLC.
